A bit about me!
I’m originally from Ireland and have spent over thirty years in the fashion industry. I began my career as a designer with a small manufacturing company in West Cork, where I gained hands‑on experience across the full design and production process—from sourcing prints and materials to pattern drafting, grading, and working closely with sample machinists and the production team.
In 2000, I moved to the UK and have since worked in a wide range of roles with brands including Shirin Guild, Speedo, Criminal, Gap, Seraphine, and Hush. My experience spans multiproduct garment technology, textile sourcing and promotion and product development.
For the past eight years, I’ve worked as a freelance product development consultant, drawing on my broad background to support small and start‑up brands. I particularly enjoy collaborative projects that help bring a client’s vision to life.
I’m down‑to‑earth, approachable, and genuinely enjoy meeting people, sharing ideas, and learning from others. I believe strongly in producing well‑considered, responsibly made products that minimise harm to both people and the planet.

Product Development
I have extensive experience developing products across menswear, womenswear, childrenswear and accessories, supporting both start-ups and growing brands from concept to final delivery. I can also connect clients with trusted freelance designers, pattern cutters, knit studios and other specialists as needed.
Sourcing
I use my global industry network to source fabrics, yarns, trims and packaging, staying up to date through regular trade-fair visits. I work with long-standing, accredited manufacturing partners - many of whom i’ve visited personally - and can confidently recommend them for your production needs.
Sustainability
I’m committed to using sustainable natural and recycled materials and work closely with innovators in R&D. I partner only with energy‑efficient, low‑carbon, socially and environmentally responsible producers, and I help brands build strong sustainability strategies from the start to ensure their products are ethical and environmentally sound.
